The National Active and Retired Federal Employees of New York (NARFE-NY) and the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) have joined forces and will be conducting at least two (2) focus groups for current and future federal retirees in the Central NY region. These sessions will be an integral part of our organization's Convention and Expo, which will take place at the Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel and Conference Center, on Wednesday, May 12, 2010. The Chief of OPM's Retirement Customer Service Group, and some of her staff, will also be on hand to answer questions about your account if necessary. They will also be able to help you with updating your e-mail address, change your tax withholding, change your online PIN number, help with establishing an allotment, change your mailing address, sign up for direct deposit, and a whole lot more!
Our goal is a simple one, we want to meet you and listen to what you have to say about how you think we can better serve you and your family. Seating for the Focus Group is limited, therefore, we strongly urge you to apply for one of the Focus Groups sooner rather than later! These sessions are FREE, and we'll "validate" parking for those who park in the hotel's attached garage. The information we request below will only be used so that we can adequately prepare for the two sessions we are offering.
